Happy September!
It’s an exciting time of year on Acadia’s campus in beautiful Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Wolfville is home to the province’s mildest climate, amazingly high tides, bountiful farms, and vibrant events and festivals.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of Acadia and the tremendous assistance and support you provide to your students everyday. We truly appreciate you having us in your schools, allowing us to speak with your students and sharing our information.
Program Update:
Certificate in Democratic Leadership
Acadia University’s new Certificate in Democratic Leadership is designed for students, lifelong learners, and aspiring politicians of all ages who want to better understand Canada’s political institutions, develop their leadership potential, and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
Whether students are looking to sharpen their knowledge about Canadian democracy, prepare for a leadership role, or simply become a more informed and ethical citizen, this 5-course program will provide students with the tools to lead with integrity and confidence.
Campus Updates: This fall, work is starting on an exciting renovation of the Acadia Students’ Union Building that promises to bring new energy to campus as a hub for student life. We will also be breaking ground on the School of Nursing building.
We are also pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the first stage of One-Stop Shop (OSS), a new initiative designed to enhance the student experience by streamlining access to key campus services. The OSS will consolidate a range of front-line student service functions into a single, centralized location, making it easier for students to get the help they need without unnecessary delays or confusion.
