On Portfolio Day here at NSCAD, you’ll have the opportunity to receive in-person helpful and encouraging feedback on your portfolio as you prepare to apply to study art and design. Whether you are applying for Fall 2025 and have a robust collection of artworks, or are still a few years away and are just starting to build up a portfolio, our feedback on Portfolio Day can give you a gentle push in the right direction.
You can expect a series of in-person presentations from faculty and alumni to help you get to know NSCAD, campus tours, Portfolio Reviews, as well as gain some tips and tricks for applying to art school and strengthening you application.
Please note that Fountain Campus (where one of the tours will take place) is not up to current accessibility building codes. Expect to navigate the historic campus by elevator, stairs and narrow staircases. Dress comfortably and bring water. This is an in-person event, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. If you cannot attend in-person, but you would like to speak with a recruitment officer about putting together your application, please select this option in the registration form.
