Grade 9 “Take Our Kids To Work Day” is making its grand return for 2023. It is happening on Wednesday, November 1st. Homeroom teachers began distributing permission slips last week (https://www.studentscommission.ca/assets/pdf/en/tokw/Parent-Permission-Form_2023_e.pdf). Students are asked to return them to their homeroom teachers by Friday, October 28th – although they will be accepted until the day of. Students are required to find their own placements and work with their parents/ guardians and community members to find one. We are hopeful that all Grade 9 students will participate in this important initiative as it is a great opportunity for our students to experience the work force.  We are excited to have this event return to Leo Hayes for the first time in four years.
